Some weeks don’t unfold neatly, they unravel, rearrange, and quietly ask you to walk your talk. This week’s been one of those, bringing reminders that real power is found in the moments. Here’s what The Alchemist and Chiastolite elixirs have been showing me about sovereignty, self-trust, and the sacred messiness of change.
This week has been… well, a bit of a beautiful mess. Not disaster-mess, just the kind where everything you thought was settled suddenly starts shifting and you’re left watching it all rearrange itself. Uncomfortable, yes, but alive with possibility and not just that, I get to conduct the process, and to guide it from a place of deep inner knowing and truth.
I’ve been working with two essence allies: The Alchemist and Chiastolite. It’s no surprise they stepped forward, I probably should’ve guessed the week was going to have “deep structural shift” written all over it, when they popped up!
Chiastolite is an essence that knows a thing or two about boundaries and balance. It’s wonderful for dismantling old vows and inherited agreements, the kind you didn’t even realise you signed, or the ones that have become so outdated that its time for a clear out and for rebuilding healthy boundaries that fit the current version of who you have become. ( Yes we are always evolving!)
The Alchemist is the quiet master of inner transformation: turning emotional heaviness into clarity, strength, and wisdom. No drama, no smoke machines or fireworks, just gentle transmutation that leaves you steadier than before. It reminds me that even the densest experiences contain light when we stop fighting the process and allow change to move through us.
Together they’ve been whispering, “Stop pushing. Let what’s done, be done.”
There’s a strange myth that sovereignty is intense, ferocious, loud and that it shows up like defiance or constant independence. In truth, it’s much quieter than that. Sovereignty can simply be the pause between impulse and reaction. It’s saying no without apology, or yes without explanation. It’s that grounded moment when you notice the old response itching to take over and decide, “Not today, darling.”
That’s the real alchemy, turning unconscious reaction into conscious choice.
I often think of this process as midwifery. Years ago, I wrote a piece about being an “Ascension Midwife.” At the time it sounded wonderfully cosmic and most definitely woo~woo, but the essence of it still stands. We are all midwives of our own change.
There’s the part of us in labour, sweaty, uncomfortable, muttering, “why did I start this again?” Then there’s the wiser part beside us, holding the space, reminding us to breathe, trusting that the new knows how to come through.
That’s sovereignty in action. It’s not control, it’s conscious participation. A steady hand at your own back saying, “Keep going. You’ve got this.”
So if you’ve felt a bit undone this week, maybe it’s not falling apart, maybe it’s just the old vows dissolving and the new updated ones crowning.
Messy? Absolutely.
Sacred? Always.
So if you find yourself in that space and need some extra support in that quiet, alchemical space, The Alchemist and Chiastolite are both available through my Inner Alchemy Essences range, gentle allies for times when shadow is turning to gold
What if future generations could grow up free of emotional trauma, unburdened by ancestral wounds, and fully connected to their soul wisdom? This is the world I dream of creating, and it begins with the healing we choose to do today
We live in a world of traumatised people, rearing future generations of equally traumatised people and the thing is, this burden gets heavier with each emerging generation.
Generational trauma is passed from our parents, our grandparents and their ancestral line too. As you look back it is easy to see how quickly the net of this connection is. If we go back 7 generations, without counting siblings etc, we would be influenced roughly by 127 people! That is a whole lot of influence isn’t it!
Its not just the influence in the terms of the behaviours and mind sets that have been passed down but the emotional trauma that is held in cellular memory that is transferred too. So taking each subsequent parent at having a child at age 25 then these 7 generations would span just 175 years.
Now all though that may seem a long time, its the fact of when we look back over the last 175 years to what those previous generations would have lived through. From living conditions, wars, lifestyle, it is easy to see how these difficulties can be transferred to us at a cellular level.
If we do not process our emotions we will become unwell. We all know the picture painted of the executive business person, driven and motivated and under so much stress, they hold overwhelm, they are constantly on the go, their mind never resting and eventually they are struck by burnout,if they are lucky, or by physical illness when their bodies can no longer keep up with the stress that they are putting themselves under.
Now that is an extreme picture to paint but to a lesser degree it is what we are all guilty of. We live in a world where we have been conditioned to push, to achieve, to maintain, and are seen weak if we do not. Now, thankfully many are seeing through this illusion – but it IS still a thing for many.
We only need to look at the adult generation of today to see how dysfunctional they can be, the reliance on addictive substances, recreational for escapism or pharmaceutical when there bodies are sending help signals in the form of physical symptoms to get them to take notice.
However, as we know that often pharmaceutical intervention is a high majority of cases is used simply to mask uncomfortable symptoms and not to address underlying causes. Where as addressing the emotional aspect can gift real insight into where these symptoms originate or more importantly why they have surfaced and why holistic or integrative medicine is important so that both side of this coin can be addressed.
My journey into this work began with my own struggles to break free from patterns of self-doubt and emotional pain. It took years to slowly untangle these threads, but through that process I discovered something profound, the deep wisdom and healing that comes from reconnecting with our true selves. What surprised me most was realising that many of the patterns I carried were rooted in my pre- and perinatal experiences.
Part of my own story was that I was conceived shortly after a traumatic stillbirth and arrived into the world prematurely. The imprints of these early experiences shaped how I related to myself and the world around me. Understanding this changed everything.
You can read more about my personal journey and the some of the implications of this type of trauma in my eBook Beyond the Pattern ~ Creating Conscious Change, Understanding the Echoes of Prebirth, Birth and Beyond. Sign up for your copy HERE
I now support others to shed light on their own stories, to gently untangle their threads, and to grow beyond the barriers these deep-rooted patterns may have held them in. I hold space in a way that feels deeply supportive, so their healing journey doesn’t have to take the years that mine did, always honouring the uniqueness of their path.
Imagine, if you can, a world where parents are emotionally equipped to support their children from conception through to adulthood. A world where the echoes of ancestral wounds no longer shape our beliefs or behaviours. Where each generation is free to grow with clarity, self-worth, and a deep connection to their soul’s wisdom.
This is the ripple effect I strive to create through my work.
The healing journey doesn’t just transform the us ~ it sends waves of change through families, lineages, and communities.
When we begin to explore the deeper layers of our emotional and spiritual selves, we start to unpick the patterns that have kept us stuck, often for generations.
My role is to gently guide clients into this exploration. Whether they’re releasing self-doubt, untangling hidden beliefs, or breaking free from stories that no longer serve them, I offer a grounded yet intuitive approach that empowers real, lasting change.
Using tools intuitively, including vibrational essences and the transformative energy of Gold, I support people to reconnect with their inner wisdom and return to the truth of who they are.
From this place, new possibilities open, and the life they’re truly meant to live can begin to unfold.
Does this sound like the kind of world that you would want to live in too?
What patterns are you ready to release so that you, and those you love, can step into a brighter future?
If this resonates, I’d love to help you explore the possibilities of your own healing journey – you can arrange a chat with me – just a no-pressure, heart-centered space to explore what you’re noticing, what may be arising, and whether gentle support could nourish your next steps.
There’s no expectation. Just a safe doorway into clarity, reflection, and possibility.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you soon.

“ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive” in the words of Walter Scott
The last year or so has really brought that phrase home to roost. We are all affected by what is playing out in the world around us to a greater or lesser degree and no matter where you sit on the fence – the further down the road we go – the more bizarre the twists and turns seem to be.
We are constantly having to check in with our own judgement and inner barometer in order to keep track of just where we are going.
Everything we encounter
Every thought we have
Every script we read
Every choice we make
Every conversation we have
Every interaction out with our selves
They are all connected to us by gossamer thin threads. The more we begin to understand this the more simplified we can make it.
Now as you are reading this, I KNOW that YOU are aware of energies and our role in energetic hygiene. Cleansing and clearing your energies personal and physical, keeping clear energetic boundaries and all the “stuff” that I know you will have explored as part of your journey. You would probably not be reading this if you were not interested in energetic interactions!
All that we do brings gossamer attachments and much as we think they are easily brushed off – I would like you to really think about this
How often do you have an interaction with someone that is uncomfortable
You decide to detach from the person
You detach from the situation
Energy ties cut
Done and dusted,Right?
Well, if for one second you go back and replay the situation in your mind, or even talk about it to someone else, think about the person or situation, or try to make sense of what went on, you are renewing that strand of connection without realising it and without taking the steps to cut those ties.
Think on it a bit like sun bathing .
You sit in the sun, you feel your skin begin to burn slightly, you move your position or go inside for a bit. You return cooled and refreshed to sit in the sun again
As long as you stay within reach of direct sunlight your skin will continue to be affected by those rays. You have to go indoors for the rest of the day, or cover up appropriately and take action, perhaps use Aloe Vera gel to soothe your skin, and to be careful over the next few days until your skin has had a chance to recover.
Energetic attachments are a bit like that. You need to take conscious action to remove all remnants of connection to enable repairs to your aura or energetic system to be repaired.
The energetic attachments to everything that we are experiencing right now is through the roof, there is deception everywhere you look, there is a need for you to know without a shadow of a doubt your own energy, what YOU as an energetic being need, and how to discern what needs to stay and what needs to go.
I am not talking about who or what is right, wrong, or indifferent. I am talking about really tuning in to your own inner wisdom and learning to walk from that place of truth and discernment. What do YOUNEED to function?
All the opposing views, the myriad “facts” and “figures” the constant bombardment of information from just about everywhere you go and everyone you meet. The Web is indeed tangled, and our “normal” route of detachment just doesn’t cut it pardon the pun.
We can also be guilty of being over attached to points of view or to trains of thought that can serve to keep us feeling safe but these “security blankets” don’t always serve our best interest either.
We have to learn to get up to speed with energetic housekeeping, we need to tune in and discern how a specific person, thought or emotion makes us feel. To really sit with it and unpick the tangles a bit, let it loose how does it feel?
Do we need to hold on to it?
Do we need to untangle a little more to see where it has gotten its wires crossed and tied up in a pile of other thoughts – notions – feelings.
Can you begin to feel just how messy and complicated our energetic attachments have become?
We are constantly being bombarded by opposing view points from:
social media
our phones
the internet
radio – tv
everyone you meet
unless you get well off the beaten track it can be difficult to detach completely and immerse in the calm still reality of nature, which is our true nature, it is our default setting.
I remember my first ever time on retreat, away from the influence of everyone and everything that normally surrounded me. I was completely shocked to find out that absolutely NOTHING that generally had an influence on me day to day, actually mattered.
Were the kids behaving? It didn’t matter, it wasn’t my responsibility they were in safe hands
Was X, Y or Z happening in my local community? It didn’t matter life still unfolded moment by moment
What was happening in the main stream news? It didn’t matter, I still had to do what I had to in the moment.
Releasing those attachments to having to “know” outside of the realm that was important to me in that moment was liberating. It let me immerse myself fully in every moment that I was there. It let me focus on ME, and for once I could hear the voice inside that was normally drowned out by the louder shouting voices of those around me. Whether that was family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours, television, internet and probably a million other routes of distraction.
Before enlightenment – Chop wood carry water
After enlightenment – Chop wood, carry water
THE most important thing we can do no matter who we are , no matter the role we take on, no matter how important our mission may feel, no matter what is playing out around us is to BE 100% authentically ourselves.
We can’t do that when we are tangled up in all these energetic threads no matter how insignificant they may feel they have a huge impact on our reality.
Think dirty lens on glasses, clear vision obscured
Think radio station slightly off tune, distorted messages
Think ears full of cotton wool – unable to hear clearly
Think rubber gloves on hands – damping down our sense of touch
We don’t put clothes on and then the following day add another layer. We remove the clothing, shower, and put clean clothes on the next day. Our energetic systems require the same attention and even more so right now.
These simple steps will help you to move through anything you encounter much more easily
Discern
Untangle
Discern (again)
Release
Cleanse
Repair
There are lots of ways we can assist with the cleansing and repair and vibrational essences are my go to.
Allow yourself to be free from as much of this entanglement as you can and really learn to trust that inner knowing – Spidey sense may be appropriate for now?
